[Lamb] weekend

Hi Meridith,
The big weekend has come and gone and we all survived. It was Dad and Connie I worried about the most.  Especially as Dad was so stressed out about the speech. He kept it short and did a good job. Quite a few people came up to him afterwards and told him they liked his best.  Stan Reynolds droned on for almost an hour. But then he donated the museum. I sure wish you and Todd had been able to come.

Mary Oswald gave Dad a DVD copy of the inductees presentation and I suggested he mail or email it to you so you can put it on the Lambair website.  You and Mary did a great job putting it all together.

In typical family fashion the Super 8 desk clerk tried to kick us all out of the breakfast room later that night as that was the only place we could find to hold us all after we'd changed out of our glad rags and were trying to visit before everyone went the separate ways.  But we got a chance to catch up a little.  I hadn't seen Crystal since at least 1977 and Karolann since about 1987. I never got a chance to thank Jon for the thoughtful one he pulled just before the dinner, putting a pack of Grandpa's favorite juicy fruit gum on each of the Lamb tables.  It wasn't til the next morning that I found out he was responsible. It was so cute and just brought Grandpa that much closer for the night.

My indoor photos turned out pretty sketchy, but I'm including a few to tide you over til the good shots start trickling in.
